Axis Energy Services Introduces New Custom 1500 HP Drill Out Pump

Axis Energy Services continues to invest in equipment, people, and operational excellence. We recently added a new custom-manufactured 1500 HP drill out pump to our fleet. This advanced pump supports drill out operations, coiled tubing assist, workovers, and pump-down services. It helps operators handle the demands of modern shale plays with greater efficiency and reliability.

Key Features of the New Custom Pump

7601 Twin Disc Transmission
This power shift transmission eliminates the torque converter. Operators can pump at any rate without risking lock-up or transmission damage.

MTU-16V 2000 Tier 4 Engine
This engine delivers consistent performance across demanding oilfield conditions. It uses EGR emissions technology and an ADEC control system to maximize durability and efficiency.

Gardner Denver 2500 HP 4” Quintuplex Pump
This pump arrives fully equipped for field service. Crews can maintain fluid-end components on-site while following Axis lockout/tagout safety standards.

Onboard Mixing System
The system includes twin 15 bbl mix tanks and hydraulic-driven augers. It also features twin 6x5x13 Mission Magnum centrifugal pumps with mechanical seals for reliable fluid handling.

Advanced Control and Data Capabilities

These pumps include Rolligon controls and Dastrac digital recording systems. Crews gain real-time data acquisition and improved operational visibility. Each unit also features a durable, corded digital remote housed in an aluminum case. Operators can connect directly to a laptop for accurate data capture and reporting.
