Dirk Lee, President of Axis Energy Services, is a competition judge in the second annual Simmons Energy℠ Permian Basin BBQ Cook-Off on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum in Midland. This event brings together energy industry leaders for a day of competition and networking opportunities.

“We’re very pleased to participate again this year, as it brings so many customers and oilfield services companies and professionals together,” says Dirk. “We at Axis support the efforts of this event and can’t wait to see everyone.”

Last year, Wendell Brooks, Axis Chairman and CEO, helped judge the competition cook-off, and we are thrilled to be involved for the second year in a row. Several Axis employees will be among the hundreds of attendees at the event. Last year, the cook-off hosted more than 800 attendees, featured 39 cooking teams and 18 executive judges.
