Axis Energy Services is committed to constantly reinvesting in our business to ensure we are leaders in our equipment, people and approach. As part of that commitment, we are pleased to announce the addition of new, custom-manufactured drill out pumps to our fleet. This leading-edge equipment can be used in all general pump applications, coiled tubing assist, workover operations, and pump down services to help operators overcome the challenges of today’s shale plays.
About our new custom pumps:
- 7601 Twin Disc Transmission – This pure power shift transmission has no torque converter, allowing it to pump at any rate without the pump locking up or burning up the transmission.
- MTU-16V 2000 Tier 4 engine – Known throughout the oilfield as a durable workhorse, it uses EGR emissions and an ADEC engine control system.
- Gardner Denver 2500hp 4” quintuplex pump – Arrives on location with all fluid end expendables and tools to be serviced in the field, following Axis’ lock out/tag out policy.
- Onboard mixing system – Includes a set of twin 15bbl mix tanks, hydraulic-driven augers, and twin hydraulic-driven 6x5x13 mission magnum c-pumps with mechanical seals.
Additionally, these technologically advanced pumps feature Rolligon controls with Dastrac digital recording, giving us sophisticated data acquisition capabilities. Units will have a corded digital remote in a robust aluminum case, with data acquisition occurring through a corded connection to a laptop. Axis personnel will be able to create chart events with comments, obtain second-by-second data, and save data to a CSV file compatible with Microsoft Excel.
Each unit will carry its own iron package consisting of 160ft of 2” 1502 iron, chicksans, valves and tees, along with current iron inspection bands and documentation.
