Axis Energy Services was proud to be a platinum sponsor at this year’s Taste of the Oil Patch Cookoff and earned 4^th place with our pulled pork sandwiches and coleslaw. We also paired up with KLX Energy Services to cook a pig that was auctioned off and later donated to the Gladewater Police Department. This annual event benefits the children of the Truman W. Smith Children’s Care Center in Gladewater, Texas, a long-term care community that provides clinical and rehabilitative care for medically fragile pediatric patients. We’re proud to say that the cooked pig raised over $1800 for the children of the center.

We enjoyed entertainment and dishes from different oil and gas companies’ cooking teams in attendance at the Gladewater Rodeo grounds. Thank you to everyone who participated this year’s event!
