We love this time of year! Axis Energy Services and its vendors were honored to support Tatum Police Department’s Blue Santa Program for the second year in a row. Each year, Tatum PD in East Texas identifies and selects children and families in need and provides them with Christmas gifts and coats as part of their Operation Blue Santa program. With help from vendors including Freemyer Industrial Pressure and HD Hydraulics, Axis was again able to sponsor this year’s Blue Santa program to help provide Christmas gifts and coats to more than 30 families with more than 90 kids in the community this holiday season.

“We wanted to do something to help out the community this Christmas season,” said Axis CEO Dirk Lee. “Thanks to Police Chief April Rains and Tatum ISD for helping coordinate efforts to provide a special Christmas for these families. We feel grateful that we could contribute to a great cause that puts smiles on kids’ faces.”

Tatum PD provided Axis with a list of toys and coats to buy for the identified children. Tatum ISD was also involved with the police department’s efforts in this year’s Blue Santa program.

Special thanks to our Axis “elves” who donated their time to help shop, organize, and wrap toys at the Axis facility in Longview so they could be delivered to Tatum PD and distributed to the families. Thanks to everyone involved!
