Axis is excited to announce that Melissa Joseph has been appointed to the role of Talent Acquisition & Development. She brings deep recruiting expertise, making her a valuable addition as we seek out talented new team members to join the Axis revolution.

Melissa’s responsibilities will include:

• Recruiting for all positions
• Developing programs to attract candidates
• Attending career fairs
• Managing applicant tracking
• Implementing retention strategies
• Performing various human resources support functions

She joins Axis with many years of experience in the oil and gas industry, having served in various senior recruiting and human resources roles. Most recently, she was a Senior Human Resources Consultant at ProvisHR in Houston.

Melissa will report to Shellye Burlison, our Director of Human Resources. Her home base will be our company headquarters at 199 Corporate Road in Longview, although she will mostly work remotely and will spend time at all locations.
