Last month, Axis was proud to sponsor and participate in two regional industry sporting clay tournaments that help support local charities and students.

First, we were a Premier Sponsor and had two shooting teams at the 15^th Annual SPE/AADE Sporting Clay Shoot at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas. The event was hosted by the Society for Petroleum Engineers Balcones Section and the American Association of Drilling Engineers Central Texas Chapter and raised money for these organizations to help support student sections at local and state universities as well as local charities.

The second event was the API East Texas Chapter Sporting Clay Tournament at Prairie Creek Ranch, where Axis was a Platinum Sponsor. The event hosted 30 teams with five players per team. This annual tournament supports the American Petroleum Institute East Texas Chapter Scholarship Fund for local area high school graduates whose family members are associated with the oil and gas industry.
