The Floor Hand position is part of a 4-5 person workover rig crew on a well service rig, who are responsible for performing services on oil and gas wells requested by the customers of Axis Energy Services. Job Functions/Duties

- Operates rod wrenches, tongs, elevators and other associated rig tools and equipment during well servicing operations
- Assists in picking up or laying down tubing, manually lifting the tubing from the rack onto the

- Dismantles and repairs oil field machinery using hand tools and power tools.
- Cleans up spills.
- Keeps pipe deck and main deck areas orderly.

The Rig Operator, reporting to the assigned Tool Pusher/Field Supervisor, leads a 4-5 person workover rig crew, and is responsible for performing and safely operating well workover components and services. The primary responsibilities include and is not limited to preparation of crew members, inspection, maintenance, and operations of assigned workover rig, in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements. Additional functions may be specified by the assigned Tool Pusher or other designated operations management. All duties are expected to be performed safely and effectively to maximize the safety of the entire crew while meeting customer expectations and being a solution to their projects by Axis operating safety and performance standards.
Job Functions/Duties
- Confirms all scheduled shift times that the full crew are prepared for work at the assigned rig.
- Supports the workover crew and is responsible for performing operating functions, including driving the workover rig as necessary to the job site, with direction from the field supervisor/Tool Pusher, and/or the customer company representative.
- Inspects the setting up, taking down and transportation of the assigned workover rig.

Job Description – Floor Hand
The Floor Hand position is part of a 4-5 person workover rig crew on a well service rig, who are responsible for performing services on oil and gas wells requested by the customers of Axis Energy Services. The primary responsibilities of a Floor Hand include but are not limited to assisting in rigging up and rigging down, pulling and laying down rods, tubing and casing, and other functions specified by the Rig Supervisor or other designated individual. All duties are performed in a specified fashion to maximize the safety of the entire crew while meeting customer expectations.
Job Functions/Duties
- The Floor Hand reports to their assigned Work-over Rig Supervisor.
- Assists the operator in rigging up and down, lining up the well service rig with the well.
- Sets hydraulic jacks, handles pads/boards and assists in attaching the guy wires to the anchor.
- Operates rod wrenches, tongs, elevators and other associated rig tools and equipment during well servicing operations
- Assists in picking up or laying down tubing, manually lifting the tubing from the rack onto the
work floor or vice versa. - Maintains tubing, rod tongs and hand tools on the rig.
- Dismantles and repairs oil field machinery using hand tools and power tools.
- Cleans up spills.

DescriptionThe Cased-Hole Operator will execute operations in all aspects of open-hole and/or cased-hole logging and completion services which may include, but is not limited to, rigging up the truck at the service location, assisting with all operations both in the shop and at the wellsite. This individual will also operate and maintain the assigned wireline truck and equipment, as well as keeps records for the overall operation.
The Cased-Hole Operator position is a labor-intensive role within our Wireline division.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Installs / disassembles (rig up/rig down) of wireline and pressure control equipment in accordance with original equipment manufacturer’s standards including verification of applicable certifications. Assembles, secures, and disconnects equipment
- Monitors, evaluates, and adjusts processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
- Performs a combination of shipping, loading, and unloading duties.
- Follows all standard shipping practices and procedures with full FMCSA compliance regulations including additional transportation routing and scheduling requirements.
- Validates and documents identity and quantity of all equipment.
- Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots wireline truck and equipment including diagnostics, as well as keeps records for the overall operation.
- Drives company vehicles and equipment: wireline trucks, cranes, pickup truck, pickup truck with trailer
- Ensures compliance with all regulations applicable to wireline explosives operations.
- Cleans and maintains company vehicles, tools, and equipment; troubleshoots tool, equipment, and truck problems; restores tools in the shop and in the field.
- Provides support to crew members with operations on and off location and communicate with technicians on equipment failure.
- Performs other duties as assigned as necessary.

RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must possess a Class B CDL (Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required)
- Must have an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as background check
- Wireline experience preferred but not required
- Willing to travel up to 80% of the time
