Axis is dedicated to protecting the health and safety of our employees, customers, and all who we encounter during the course of doing business, so we are incredibly proud to be recently honored by the Association of Energy Service Companies (AESC) for our excellence in safety.
David Etchelecu, Vice President of HSE, accepted the 2019 AESC Gold Award for Safety on behalf of all Axis employees at the association’s winter meeting this February in Galveston.
The award, based on the company’s total recordable incident rate, was presented to Axis in the Group IV category (300,001 to 2,500,000 manhours worked in the calendar year) in the Rig Services Division. Companies were grouped according to total manhours worked and about 120 companies participated in the annual competition. Winners are featured in Well Servicing magazine, which is published by AESC.
“Axis is constantly focused on safety in the field and each of our service lines has a proven track record of safe performance that far outperforms industry standards,” says Etchelecu. “Safety is our most important founding core value and we use our technology to monitor fleets, manage compliance, and constantly improve our safety systems.”
Congratulations to all our employees on this well-deserved award. Thank you for committing to a culture of safety on a daily basis and continuing to look out for your fellow team members.
