Axis Energy Services is expanding its fishing and rental service offerings to customers in East Texas by launching a new location in Longview at 2800 South Access Road at the Axis multi-service center. Initial inventory arrived at the new yard and consists of a complete line of fishing equipment and rental tools, including overshots, spears, internal cutters, external cutters, washover shoes, mills, drill collars, fishing jars, handling tools, casing scrapers, cross overs, bit subs, and bits of all sizes and styles. We also have 2-7/8” motors, 3-1/8” motors, venturi cleanout tools, power swivels, laydown machines, and tubing bailers.

In addition to rental tools, we will also have service and completion tools at our East Texas yard, including a full line of service packers for squeezing and locating leaks and a full line of production packers for most well applications. We will also have dual and single ceramic discs, a full line of profile nipples, cement retainers, and cast-iron bridge plugs that can be tubing set or wireline set.

Matthew Bender, Fishing and Rental Manager, is leading our effort to introduce our new fishing and rental operation in East Texas. He has been running and managing fishing and rental operations in East Texas, the Haynesville, and Oklahoma for many years and brings significant local knowledge of well conditions and downhole issues.

“We have a lot of tools coming into the new shop and we’re ready to take off here in Longview,” says Bender. “We also have fishing tool operators ready to clear your obstructed wellbore and restore production.”

Axis originally launched its fishing and rental operations out of Hobbs, NM earlier this year and continues to grow its offerings to customers. Axis can assemble a package to accompany any of our other comprehensive service lines and accommodate our customers’ needs at the well.
