We have an unprecedented situation on our hands with the potentially rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus, and Axis Energy Services is preparing for many potential outcomes. According to local and federal health authorities, the overall risk of coronavirus remains low in our market areas; however, we realize the potential threat and are working proactively to be prepared. We place a high priority on the safety and health of our Axis team and their families, our customers and vendors, and our communities in which we live and work. We are closely monitoring the ongoing situation and resources including federal, state, and local health authorities for updates and advisements on best practices for maintaining a healthy workplace environment.
We have been communicating with our employees via text, email, and internal communication boards with proactive guidelines, including a “no physical contact” policy and requiring meetings be conducted via conference call, when possible. We are also making sure all corporate employees have the tools and technology to work remotely if necessary and are closely monitoring CDC and WHO recommendations to ensure the safety of our employees in the field. We have posted educational flyers at all our facilities with CDC-recommended preventive steps to protect our team, customers, and vendors onsite. We are making every effort to continue operations as normal to support the operations of our customers and their employees, while also closely monitoring the situation across all of the areas where we operate.
To all of our Axis Team, customers, and vendors, please let us know if and how we can be of any assistance during this time. Axis has set up a task force to stay proactive during this time and all inquiries can be directed to our point of contact:
